Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer Get Married
From ‘True Blood’ to true love – Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer have tied the knot. The couple married Saturday evening at sunset. Paquin, wearing a white halterneck gown and Neil Lane jewelry with her hair in an updo, and Moyer, clad in a dark suit, exchanged vows under a white tent at a beachside villa in Malibu. "It was a beautiful evening to get married and the sunset was gorgeous. Anna and Stephen seemed very excited to celebrate their wedding day with their families and close friends," said a guestThey married after a year-long engagement. Moyer proposed with a vintage-style ring on the beach last August. "It’s great to have the freedom to enjoy your work and not feel like you’re leaving your other life behind," Paquin says of the couple’s relationship. "It’s a pretty sweet setup." |

Stephen Moyer Uninjured After Race Car Flips
‘True Blood’ star Stephen Moyer walked away unscathed after flipping his car during a celebrity driving race.During his seventh lap in the qualifying rounds of the 35th Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race in Long Beach, Calif., Moyer’s car slid into the tire barrier, causing it to do a 360-degree roll before landing back on its tires."I was getting quicker and quicker and quicker and I was braking later and later and later. It was total driver error," Moyer explained. "It was a surreal experience. It felt like a roller-coaster ride when my car flipped."Despite his accident, Moyer scored the No. 1 qualifying time, beating celebs like Brian Austin Green.As part of his reward, Moyer was given a check for his charity of choice, and the pole position for Saturday’s race."I want to apologize to the rest of the drivers for ruining everyone’s qualifying session, but I really wanted to get the money for the kids," Moyer said. |
