Russell Brand Kicked Out Of Japan British funnyman Russell Brand was deported from Japan on Sunday because of his previous convictions, according to his wife Katy Perry.Brand flew to the country with Perry’s tour entourage but was allegedly held by immigration officials and subsequently expelled from Japan due to prior criminal offenses from more than a decade ago.Perry took to her Twitter.com blog to tell fans of Brand’s deportation, writing, "My husband just got deported from Japan. I am so sad. I brought him all this way to show him my favorite place.Brand is open about his past issues with drugs and run-ins with the law at the height of his addiction. He was also arrested last September over a clash with a photographer at Los Angeles International Airport. |
